| Physical Description | Tall and muscular physique. His skin is a yellowish ashen grey color. His hair is unusual for a Nausicaan in that it is a deep copper red and black, hence his name Firax. His hair is long and curly. He has the typical small tusk and bony mandibles around the mouth the prominent bone structure of Nausicaans with four small horns running vertically down his forehead. He also has spines on each of the metacarpals of his hand. His body is cris crossed with scars. |

| Personal History | Firax is the youngest of three children born to Dakeeng and Shaekec. He was born in the great city of K’Kall’a on Nausicaa. He was raised in typical fashion as a Nausicaan, brutally. When he was old enough to stand and walk, he began learning how to defend himself and fight. His siblings would constantly barge him with slaps, punches or kicks for any perceived slight or offense. When he reached the age of ten, he ended up killing his older brother. This had a profound effect on him and shook him to his core. His parents did not condemn or punish him, instead they praised him for his skill. His sister stepped up her abuse until she left the family to pursue plunder on a Nausicaan raider. Firax continued to be abused by both parents until he turned seventeen. At seventeen he informed his parents he was going to take a pilgrimage across the Great Silver Plain, seeking enlightenment. He was still very troubled by the death of his brother. His mother presented him with his tegolar sword, the very one used by his father on the eve of Firax’ s pilgrimage. Firax took the tegolar sword and club and went on his 300-mile pilgrimage across the Great Silver Plain. During this pilgrimage he firmly believes the Four Winds who inhabit the Heart of the Sky told him to seek a path amongst the Federation, Starfleet and her people. To become one with them. To pursue the commands given to him by the Four Winds who inhabit the Heart of the Sky, he went to the space port in Re'tak'ma. There he hired on as a laborer to human, Robert Pierre, free trader to go to Starbase 74. As he was working with Pierre, he recommended that Firax join the Federation Merchant Marine if he truly wanted to integrate himself with the Federation as he claimed. He would learn some valuable skills and could work towards his citizenship with the Federation. At Starbase 74, Firax departed his service with Robert Pierre. On the station he found a Merchant Marine recruiting station. He enlisted in after the recruiter got over the shock of a Nausicaan wanting to join the Federation Merchant Marine, after all there was no citizenship requirement. He ran him through the entrance requirements and test. He passed all the physical fitness requirements and was able to even the mental fitness, though barely, the counselor/psychiatrist figured he would benefit from the semi-structure of the Merchant Marine. He shipped out to Danula II and the Merchant Marine Academy there for basic training then departmental assignment and school. At first Firax struggled with the disciplined routine of basic, but he meets a female Klingon, Soruh G'gazh, who helped him to learn “Honor” and to control his temper. The two would spend their free time singing Klingon Opera, Naausicaan tusk opera, Terran opera, and Kasseelian opera; the latter was especially enjoyed by both due to the honorable suicide by the Kasseelian prima donna. To their surprise many of their fellow recruits would sit and listen to them sing. He also earned the nickname ‘Rooster’ because his laugh sounded very similar to the Terran rooster, and his hair resembled that of a traditional rooster. He graduates from his basic and departmental training and is assigned to FMMS Nostromo, under the command of Captain Calypso. On the Nostromo he learns that security is also the go-to for all duties and labor specifically not assigned to the rest of the crew. He is tutored by Chief Warrant Officer 2nd Class Ngarriz, an Orion, in Merchant Marine Security duties. Captain Calypso encouraged him to study for the citizenship test to the Federation. Calypso also taught him Tai chi chuan to help with his highly aggressive urges. Ngarriz would spar with him and taught him Tatharoc (Rigellian karate or Orion karate). Firax ended his first tour and reupped for another tour. He was assigned to the FMMS Antonia Graza, under the command of Captain Mark Mayo. He continued practicing his martial arts and studying for citizenship. At the end of his tour, he again reupped and was sent to Merchant Marine Academy, Danula II for 6 months of Non-Commissioned Officer School then to 1 ½ year “B" Master-at-Arms School. He was then assigned to the FMMS Hunter-Gratzner, here the First Officer and Quartmaster, L'Vor, took an interest in him and his education. She taught him Vulcan meditation methods and with her help he finally passed the Federation citizenship test. He swore his oath of citizenship with Captain O’Langton, with L’Vor present to hand him his traditional sheepskin document of citizenship. Promoted to Senior Chief Petty Officer mid-tour. The tour ends and he again reups for another tour. He is sent to Merchant Marine Academy, Danula II to the Warrant Officer Academy and “C" Master-at-Arms School. Assigned to FMMS Demeter, works with both Starfleet Security, Intelligence, and Starfleet Criminal Investigative Service (SCIS) in a major smuggling bust of Breen and Orion pirates. Awarded the Starfleet Medal of Commendation. It was also recommended to him that he consider joining Starfleet. He finishes his tour on the FMMS Demeter and decides to enlist in Starfleet. After a thorough review of his record, he was accepted as enlisted Starfleet security. He was sent through an abbreviated course for enlisted then attended Security Services School Program. After finishing the program, he is promoted to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2 Class. He awaited his first duty assignment as a Chief Warrant Officer in Starfleet. He is assigned to Starbase Frontier. |
