In like wise form the Orion had downed a good 'Swig of the Bloodwine and was like a Green skinned 'Preditor enjoying the blood lines along her face before wiping in on her sleeve.

"May we all be so Honored." VepKa raised her mug. "Til that glorious day." She offered in tone.

After a gulp Thor gave toothy grin to VapKa. "Excuse me Lieutenant I must report in, thank you again for picking me up. I was not looking forward to a shuttle or transport trip." He said.

"I am yours to Command." VepKa bowed properly in respect.

"Carry on," Thor said and left the Orion to her fun in the search of Captain Kagami Izumi.

Vok’Ka walked into the gathering, attempting to make a last-minute adjustment to his armor. Dissatisfied with the adjustment, he stopped at a nearby table of Starfleet officers, set down the keg of warnog he was carrying, and properly adjusted his uniform. He double-checked the placement of his d’ktahg and his disruptor and then noticed the looks on the Starfleet officers’ faces.

He scooped up the warnog, nodded a toothy grin to the Starfleet officers to thank them for their table and moved to where the Klingon food was set up. He deposited the keg atop the unopened vat of bloodwine and began the ritual of opening the keg. Soon, the mahogany-hued liquid filled several mugs, giving the area around the keg a warm, sweet smell. Vok’Ka served several warriors who had formed a semi-circle around the barrels and then took a mug for himself.

Turning up late to these sort of events wasn't Kagami's usual style. But someone had been a little fuss pot. Twenty minutes earlier she had been chasing a four year old in her birthday suit around her quarters. She looked down at Hatsune, she was still pouting. She had wanted to play longer in the bath, so she was annoyed.

"Kagami!"

She looked up to see Tadao- along with the entirety of Final Frontiers's staff- dressed in black from head to toe.

"We heard about what happened to Commander Tormek," Tadao nodded, "So we came to pay our respects."

"It's good that you're here. He wasn't here long, but he was respected." Kagami replied to Tadao. "Would you be ae to do me a favour?" She asked shifting her eyes down to indicate Hatsune who was still in a huff.

"Sure thing," Tadao nodded. "How may I be of assistance?"

"I've got to do the whole 'Captain Speech' thing. Can you take her for a few moments?" Kagami asked. She wasn't sure why, but she felt comfortable with handing over Hatsune to Tadao. She didn't even feel the same when she had to give her over to Tsukasa

"Oh, but off course," Tadao smiled. "It's the least I can do."

Kagami gave him a small smile as she released Hatsune to him. Then began making her way through the small crowd.

Tadao watched her go before shifting his attention over to Hatsune.

"How are you doing, Sweetheart?" he asked her with a smile.

Hatsune simply gave him a small smile in response.

As Kagami was making her way up to the podium, she was stopped however by a Klingon she didn't recognise.

"nuqneH Captain," Thor greeted Kagami, nuqneH = Hello, the Klingon first officer gave a cheers gesture with his goblet of Blood wine. "I am Soghla'" = Lieutenant Commander "Thorillo, Son of Drej." Of course the words were instantly translated to appropriate languages as he spoke.

"Ah yes. Our new XO," Kagami said. "You have good timing, come and join me at the podium. We'll get you introduced to the crew." She said indicating to the podium at the end of the hall on a small raised section.

He frowned but nodded as he went to stand by his new commanding officer, "very well," Thor replied gruffly, he drank more blood wine then turned to Kagami. "I officially report in to you as your Executive officer as per our joint protocols by both Starfleet Command and High Command." He pound his empty fist against his opposite sided chest while keeping his blood wine goblet very still.

Kagami made her way to the podium and stood in front of the crowd. As soon as she stepped up the room started to fall quiet. Eventually it was quiet enough for her to speak. "We are all here to remember those who fell in the recent battle for this station." She began. "Many brave men and woman, of both Starfleet and the Klingon Defence Force gave their lives in the battle against the Duras. However we did prevail and we managed to fight off the enemy." She said to them all proudly.

"Most of all, we lost Commander Tormek. He died with honour and valor." Kagami said. You could see if you looked closely that it was still painful. "He was more than just a Klingon officer and the Exec of this station. He was a honourable man and someone I was proud to call my friend."

She looked over at Thorillo. "However." She said. "We will remember those who have passed to the afterlife. But we move forward stronger. Therefore please welcome Thorillo Son of Drej as our new Executive Officer." She held out a hand to Thor to indicate for him to speak.

He walked up to the podium and faced the crew. "nuqneH (Hello) my fellow warriors and officers of Starfleet, I am Thorillo Son of Drej, High Command sends their honour and howls for Commander Tormek to join the honoured dead in Sto'vo'kor." Thor said as he held up his goblet. "To Tormek!" He called.

"To Tormek!" The Klingon assemblage proclaimed in unison.

VepKa raised her goblet high as she could, Tormek knew his duty, he also understood what a Gifting of the Slave Orion VepKa meant. He took ownership of her as the Captain had 'Federation Moral Objections' to being Master to a Klingon Slave of the High Council.

An insult if anyone understood Klingon culture. Tormek listen to her and gave her thoughts merit. His Loss left VepKa in a vacuum with no one to understand her lifestyle and responsibilities.

VepKa growled as one does to warn of the coming of a Warrior by Klingon tradition.

Thor screamed to the heavens for a few moments before taking a gulp of blood wine in honour of his predecessor. "As per Klingon tradition," he turned to the Captain. "I will obey your commands, but I speak for the crew," he announced though turned to face the crew. "If any among the Empire see I am not doing my job honourably they have the rite to challenge me." He sighed as he recalled a Starfleet condition on this particular tradition. "However, Starfleet has reserved the right to grant the Captain special consideration should this rite be called." He gestured to the grand room. "Let's continue to celebrate our victory in the names of the Fallen," he held up his near empty goblet.

"That works for me," Kagami said with a smile. She extended a hand to the Klingon. "Welcome aboard."

"Thank you," Thor replied accepting the captain's hand and shook it once. He grinned a toothy smile.
